I am pleased to announce I completed my Tirisula course with good results. So now I am officially qualified as a yoga instructor. There were a fair few days of big smiles and much laughter following this momentous event. I made five new friends and built a few good connections. There was outstanding progress with the strength and stamina of my practice. I lost about 5kg and gained muscle tone in places which will help my practice in the future, not to mentioned help my paddle stamina.
I most important thing for me is that I feel as if I have been reset both physically and mentally. The intensity of the course in the time period, by narrowing my field of focus to just yoga for a month, has changed my ambition and desire almost solely to yoga. I know now completely that I want to live my life based on yoga. I want to continue the freedom of body and mind and soul that I found through my practice each and every day for the rest of my life.
After I finished my course I went to Geraldton for a week to get my information together to decide how I wanted to proceed from here. It was a nice break and I got to play the housemaid for Walrus by cleaning and shopping and cooking each day, watching some midday TV and taking morning swims and paddles down on the beaches, seeing the sites of town and reading and of course researching yoga in Perth. I am still trying to make a decision about my direction but I got a lot of good information and statistics. Oh and I got to spend each night with Walrus. That was just lovely.
Since I have been back in Perth I have discussed some ideas with the girls from my class, and the inspirational instructor who introduced me to Tirisula. I have spent some time getting my affairs at home in order and signed up for a complete First Aid Course. I am working on the last stretch of my Certificate in Ed Assistance. I am so lucky, and thank my lucky stars every day that my family and friends are so supportive and willing to help me and forgive my current position in life as I work towards making my future dreams a reality. I know if I can keep it together now, then soon it will come in to something wonderful soon. These moments are the prelude to my success.
